Use
Interior: Ideal for food surfaces such as counters, tables, butcher blocks as well as furniture, accessories and other interior wood projects.

Advice
Tung oil, when applied to open-grained wood, may ooze. In this case, wipe dry again if oil droplets are observed on the wood surface.

For a softer, smoother finish, lightly sand between coats with 600 or 800 grit sandpaper.

1. Mix well with a stick.
2. Apply a generous layer of oil up to
saturating the wood using a STAINING PAD,
from a POLYCOTTON CLOTH or an applicator
dyeing.
3. After 15 to 30 minutes, remove any excess oil by
rubbing the surface with a POLYCOTTON CLOTH.
4. Allow to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
5. Repeat all the previous steps for the layers
subsequent.

1. Dilute the first two coats of Tung Oil
with CITRUS SOLVENT at a ratio of 1:1 (50% –
50%).
2. Apply at a temperature above 15°C.
3. The wood must be free of any old finish and sanded
meticulously with 100 or 120 grit sandpaper.
4. Dust using a vacuum cleaner.
5. After sandblasting, it is recommended to clean the wood
with the PRATO PREP product to dislodge the micro-
dust particles, reduce tannins and improve
the intensity of the colors.
