preliminary step

Ensure the product is at room temperature. Stir the varnish well before application using a stick so that any material at the bottom of the container loosens and mixes thoroughly with the mixture before you begin.
The surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of wax, grease, dirt, and dust. Sand the surface to remove imperfections.

Tools required

A good quality brush or a 5-8mm lint-free roller, a soft cloth, and 120, 150, or 180 grit sandpaper, if necessary. SamaN's hybrid oil varnish can be applied with an HVLP spray gun.

Quick and easy application. Simply apply 2 to 3 even coats of SamaN hybrid oil varnish, following the grain of the wood, using a good quality brush, a lint-free roller, or an HVLP type paint sprayer.

Allow 1 to 2 hours of drying time between coats and lightly sand between each coat with 180 grit sandpaper. Vacuum up the dust and wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove all residue before applying the second coat of varnish.

Repeat this process between each coat of varnish to be applied.

Bare wood: Sand with 120 or 150 grit sandpaper. Do not use steel wool or any other products that could damage the wood. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Varnished wood: The surface must be clean and free of dust, wax, grease, mold, and moisture. Ideally, wash the surface to be stained with SamaN's TSP eco product or another degreaser without bleach. Lightly sand with 150-grit sandpaper. It is important that the surface is completely dry before applying the varnish.

Stained wood: It is important that the surface is completely dry before applying the varnish to prevent the pigments from rising into the varnish, which will result in an uneven finish.

Allow 1 to 2 hours of drying time between each coat of varnish.
