Normal drying time:
Allow 1 to 2 hours to dry between coats (drying time may vary depending on ambient temperature and room humidity).
Wait 24 hours after applying the last coat of varnish before allowing light circulation.
Wait a week for more intense circulation or to lay out a rug.
It is also best to wait 10 to 15 days before washing the surface with cleaning products.

SamaN water-based varnish is renowned for providing a superior clear finish. Its formula has been specially designed to offer twice the protection of a conventional varnish. Furthermore, this varnish features a special self-leveling, anti-yellowing, and fast-drying formula.

Ensure that the SamaN water-based varnish is at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Thoroughly stir the varnish with a stick to loosen any residue at the bottom of the container and ensure it is completely mixed into a uniform consistency before beginning.

Apply 2 to 3 even coats of SamaN water-based varnish, following the grain of the wood. You can use a good quality brush, a lint-free roller, or an HVLP paint sprayer.

Between each layer:

Allow 1 to 2 hours of drying time between coats
Lightly sand between each coat with 180 grit sandpaper
Vacuum the dust and wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove any residue.
Repeat this process between each coat of varnish to be applied

The surface to be varnished must be clean, free of dirt and dust, grease, residual wax, and any other visible imperfections. Ensure the surface is dry before applying the varnish.

Bare wood: Sand with fine-grit sandpaper (120 or 150 grit). Do not use steel wool or any other product that could damage the wood. Vacuum up the residue and dust, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Previously varnished wood: The surface must be clean and free of dust, wax, grease, mold, and moisture. Ideally, wash the surface with SamaN's TSPeco product, or another non-concentrated degreaser, and lightly sand with 150-grit sandpaper. It is important that the surface is completely dry before applying the varnish.

Stained wood: It is important to ensure that the surface to be varnished is completely dry before applying SamaN water-based varnish to prevent the pigments of the stained wood from rising into the varnish, which could cause an uneven finish.
