Ensure the Grade + varnish is at room temperature. Mix well with a stick before adding the catalyst.

For commercial use, it is recommended to add, during the last coat, 1/2 oz of AT catalyst per liter of varnish, stirring gently for 30 seconds, in order to obtain maximum performance.

Wait 5 to 10 minutes before applying the varnish to allow any bubbles to escape. Use the preparation within 24 hours of activation. After 24 hours, the preparation can be used as a first coat on another project.

Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying SamaN GRADE+ finish. Perform a compatibility test beforehand. For best results, use SamaN stains.

New floor: Sand according to NOFMA or NWFA recommended standards. Complete the sanding with 120 or 150 grit sandpaper. Do not use steel wool. Vacuum the dust and wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Surfaces already varnished: To re-varnish, sand according to the recommended NOFMA or NWFA standards in order to completely remove the old varnish.

To refresh: Clean and dust the surface completely. Sand with 120 grit sandpaper to obtain a sufficiently rough surface.

Check for contaminants in an inconspicuous area and assess the adhesion of the old finish. It is best to perform a finish compatibility test before proceeding. Do not use SamaN Grade+ varnish on a floor that has not passed the tests. If any test fails, sand the entire surface down to bare wood.

For use on dyes: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for dye application.
